- Trackball Alert
- Auto Task Manager : Has double my battery's lifetime on my Nexus One ! I looooooove this app !
- CacheMate for Root Users Free : For ROOT users. Wonderful space-saving app, a must-have !
- screenshot : For ROOT users. Easy to use, do the job right!
- Google Maps : Simply one of the best Google product ever ! Just too bad it needs a second app to show/edit saved maps...
- Google Search

- Voice Search
- ROM Manager
- Fruit Ninja Kaka
- TV Flash
- Bookmark Sort & Backup
- Text-To-Speech Extended : Not sure of it's utility but it seems some app require this... Can't be uninstalled later... What are the differences with eSpeak? with Talkback? ...???...
- Apps Organizer : A must have! This app changed my device ! Tag your apps and creates apps shortcut on your homescreens (also offers easy uninstall). Excellent !
- Google Sky Map : Wonderful, almost magical app !
One of my favorites ! - My Tracks
- DiskUsage : Wonderful tool, helps you locate space-consuming folders and files from SD and now even from Internal memory !
- Google Buzz widget : That's just as a shortcut to post... For a widget I would except a scrolling display of the buzzs I follow...
- Google Translate : With Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech, it's almost as if you could talk every languages !
;-) - Panoramio Uploader : Allow upload of photos to Panoramio - Sadly the ability to see Panoramio's pics on top of Maps is lacking :-(
- My Maps Editor by Google : It's great to access your maps from your Google Maps' account but it's really too bad it's not a new functionality inside the existing Maps app. Why a second separate app? :-(
- Gesture Search : Wow factor but I'm not convinced of it being usefull yet. It should be integrated into the Android OS and not a specific app.
- Google Chrome to Phone
- Super KO Boxing 2 : The most beautiful game I've seen on Android. Easy and fun to play, challenging with various objectives... A must have !
- Brain Genius Deluxe
- NASA News Widget BETA

It will give you the home screen of your dreams, highly customizable (up to 7 screens, up to 3 docks with up to 5 shortcuts each, ...)
Just amazing app! - ES File Explorer : Incredibly complete file browser app. Does for free more than some paying apps.
- PhotSpot : The closest app to Panoramio website I've found. Showing geolocated pictures on a map.
- Autostarts
- Multi Touch Paint : The "Kid mode" of this drawing app is mind-blowing: it easily creates art pieces while it's a fantastic "game" for your children.
- Dropbox : THE easy way to share files from your desktop to your Android, and from your Android to your desktop. No need to plug the USB anymore !
# If you don't have an account yet, this link is a referral offer : http://db.tt/teWTtW - You and I will both be offered 250 MB of bonus storage ! - Urban Dictionary : A must have for non-native English speakers: it finds the words that are not in regular dictionaries.
- Astronomy Picture of the Day
- ShopSavvy Barcode Scanner : The best barcode scanner for shopping purpose IMHO. Find most products, compare local and online prices. Great!
@rockmetal: remove that fingerprint from your lens! - AdFree Android : For ROOT users. No more ads, never! None in your browser(s), neither in your apps... Amazing!
- 20 Minutes.fr : For French users - Le fait de pouvoir créer sa "Une" avec les thèmes qui vous intéressent est excellent. Dommages qu'il y ai tant de caractères mal encodés : ´ ...

- AppBrain App Market : An excellent way to browse for new apps + ability to sync apps with website. Great tool !
#AppBrain Guys: Just add on the app the ability to open users LISTS, created on your website, and you'll be real close to perfection!# - Adobe Photoshop Express : Allows to perform simple photoshoping task with local or online pictures and to save locally or upload the results. Only a few tools but powerful ones!
- Android Community
- WaveUp : Google Wave on the go : A great app to use Google Wave. Works OK.
- SMS Speaker : Not so useful but quite impressive - Allows the TTS function to read out loud any already received SMS. Can also be "turned on" to read out loud SMS on recepetion.
- NewsRoom Trial - RSS News : One of the very best mobile interface I've ever seen: beautifull, simple and so intuitive! This RSS reader is what I was looking for since I'm running Android. I just miss a "Share in Google Reader" feature...
- Call Logs Backup & Restore
- SMS Backup & Restore
- APN Backup & Restore
- Talkback : Not sure this app is needed by the other apps that use TTS but it's needed for Android accessibility TTS service. IMHO the app should be part of Android OS *or* should be deletable... I'd also like this app to be able to read out loud my SMS... Right now it's not very useful !
- Titanium Backup ★ root : For ROOT users. Initially for backing-up your apps' apk, this app is a blessing cause it allows moving any app to SDcard !
- Dolphin Browser™ HD : Wonderful browser! Enjoy tabs and extensions (adblock, screenshots, twitter, ...) I love it!
- AutoKiller Memory Optimizer
- Vignette (demo version) : Nice camera alternative, pre-defined effects in the "Favorited" section are really nice.

- FxCamera : A few nice effects that will sometime produce beautiful pictures, sometimes really funny results. Simple and full of possibilities.
- Quick Boot
- Angry Birds
- Kamikaze Race beta
- Instant Heart Rate
- psx4droid (PSX Emulator) : Sound is not perfect... but there's a PSone in my Nexus One now !
- eSpeak for Android : Should be part of the OS. Right now it's really confusing: what is it for? when is it used? how can I make my device read out loud text in an app? what are the differences with TTS Extended? with Talkback? ...???...
- Twitter : The official client. Has not all the features you could want but very nice looking.
- FeedSquares for Google Reader : A nice looking and smartphone-screens friendly app synced with your Google Reader. I love the ability to "Share in Reader" but I miss the ability to "Star in Reader".
- Springpad : An excellent note taking app, works great locally and then sync to the springpadit website, so notes are always easy to access
- Nexus One Torch
- Edwin, Speech-to-Speech : Wonderful app, really impressive, can also be useful in Car Mode.
- NASA News
- Flash Player 10.1 : Still a bit hard to press the buttons to control some video players but at last I HAVE FULL WEB EXPERIENCE ! Some discuss about it's a good app or not: at least it exists and you have the choice to use it or not ;-)
- Taskos To Do List | Task List : Light, simple and useful.
- Log Collector
- Gmail
- MiniSquadron! LITE
- Frozen Bubble : A really nice "Puzzle Bobble"-like. Playable trough touchscreen or with the trackball. Really challenging when close to level 100.

- Dolphin Google Services : A nice looking pop-up with all the shortcuts to the Google products.
- PagesJaunes : French directory of professionals. Handy.
- Color Flashlight : The best light (using the phone screen) I've tested. A lot of options for such a small app !
I hope an update will add support for LED camera's light so this app will have everything ! - Bubble level : A light and could-be-useful app. Nice.
- Music : Nice, adds more than 1700 songs in streaming too your SD card music. Playlists then mix both locals and on-the-cloud songs. So, more content with the same SD card footprint! Who doesn't want that? ;-)
Only minus point is the docked screen, with its ugly clock, replacing the songs infos. - Elements 2.0 : Useful for chemistry and biology students but also for crosswords! ;-)
- FRANCE INFO
- Dolphin Desktop Toggles : Working great, another killer add-on for the Dolphin browser.
- Zombie, Run! : Play in real-life! Run against zombies while doing your jogging or having a ride-bike... Real fun !
- Camera Button : Almost instant access to your camera for never missing a shot !
- TED Mobile : Wonderful talks in your pocket.
- XkcdViewer : The app is not yet perfect but the comic can be so fun !
- AndroRadio : Streaming FM radios by 3G. Nice but the design of the app and of the widgets is awful !
- Meebo IM : The best-looking messaging app on Android IMHO. Works correctly with Google, Hotmail and Yahoo accounts.
- Ustream Viewer : Nice app to find live video streams.
Works great for all the non-HD streams. - Replica Island : Certainly the best free game on Android. A huge platforms game with a nice scenario. Will remind you the SNES era but with touchscreen technology. Excellent.
- SPB TV : The only way I've found to play NASA TV on my Android. Great but expensive...
- SNesoid (SNES Emulator) : Flawless emulator. The virtual gamepad on screen works great. Tons of ROMS out there on the web... Excellent !
- La Conjugaison : For French users - Un bescherelle de poche, pratique et efficace.
- Doodledroid : If you zoom and draw one portion of screen at a time, you can achieve impressive results considering the support. Nice.
- Radiant : Wonderful game! All the good stuff from old shooters with the modern touch to make it beautiful and addictive. Awesome!
- Robo Defense FREE : Excellent game. Hard to believe this is only a demo version as it will take you some time and quite a challenge to finish it!
- Galaxy Wire - Space News : A wonderful app to be up-to-date with Space exploration news. Only minus point is the ISS page: way too telegraphic!
- SwitchPro Widget : Love it! At last I can remove the Bluetooth icon I never use from my battery widget. Also can make it transparent. Excellent.
- Facebook for Android : Official client. I prefer it to the website ! No adds, no stupid games, just friends...
- Advanced Task Killer : You need this app to switch off running programs.
Simple and effective. - Advanced Lie Detector : Really worth trying on someone else (it works fine on my little daughter!) - Fun
- Abduction! : Addictive and fun game. I love the "Child" mode that allows my 3 years old daughter to play with it !
- Tricorder : The geekiest app ever! A working tricorder with many functionnalities - Love it !
- ixMAT Barcode Scanner : The quickest and lightest scanner I've tested for barcode links (mostly QR codes) - For shopping purpose I would better recommend ShopSavvy.
- PicSay - Photo Editor : Quick and easy way to make something fun out of your picture, before sending it to a social network for example.
- Beautiful Widgets : The "small home" widget included in this bundle is exactly the app I was looking for : date+day+time+meteo in one single line
- LinkPush : For all those who don't have Froyo : You too can push link from your browser directly to your phone ! Great !
- Engadget : Fantastic app! All news and website's apps should look as nice and be as well optimized for mobile viewing... This app is an example for all the others and Engadget content rules... What else?
- AppMonster : Nice little app to keep track of the memory space left both on phone and in SD card.
Nul !
- Home Switcher : A must have if you have installed another "Home" Launcher. Simple, Easy and useful !
- Application Android France : For French users - L'application est parfaite pour lire les post du site web sans ouvrir ce dernier, avec affichage illustré mais optimisé pour mobile. En revanche dommage que le widget soit si vilain et ne permette pas de faire défiler les titres...
- Gmote 2.0 : Wonderful app: controlling PC with your phone as a touchpad, opening PC files on phone or on PC from your couch, ... it just lacks the ability to copy files between PC and SD card.
